Basic Requirements & Qualifications

Finally, we do have some basic requirements and qualifications that we require our franchise owners meet.

Financially, we require a liquid net worth of $180k to $280k, along with a good credit score and credit history. Upon submitting your application to become a franchisee, we also require that you provide details on your proposed Primp and Blow facility location. In most cases, location requirements include approximately 1,200–1,400 square feet of space located within a retail shopping area anchored by high-end brands, as well as other services that create what we refer to as a “daily needs center.” An ideal location also has:

  • Excellent visibility
  • Convenient and ample parking

It’s also worth noting that no prior experience with the hair care or beauty industry is required to become a Primp and Blow franchise owner. We will provide you with the support and training you need to be successful in this industry!

Our initial franchise fee is $35k for an initial 10-year term, and the ongoing royalty is 3 percent of gross revenue; you will also be required to spend a minimum of $2k per month of gross revenues; this will go toward approved local marketing during your first year of business. From there, the royalty increases to 5 percent from year two through the end of the term. What many of our franchise owners appreciate about working with us is that we have no hidden fees or costs; everything is completely and clearly communicated up-front so that you know exactly what your total investment requirements are. This is something you simply won’t find in a lot of franchise opportunities.
